YOUTH REVIVAL. Diesel’s fall/winter 2017 preview collection includes the kind of clothes you’d want to wear when going to a music festival
With Seattle in the ’90s as its background, the collection draws influence from multiple genres of music like folk, grunge and rock. As a result, dark and broody colors are heavily utilized, along with elegant florals patterns and a “Cat-astrophy” print that gives it softness. Ripped denim jeans and looser-fitting pants complement the pieces, giving them a youthful and nonchalant spirit. Completing the looks are military-inspired accessories like nylon backpacks with denim and utilitarian details. In the shoe department, Diesel introduced a new collection: The SKB sneaker family, a lightweight camo knit shoe with a heel counter and puller. These shoes are further mixed with suede, making it highly breathable and flexible.
