Fashion brands are always keeping their A-game on creating the coolest and most inspirational stories to convey their messages through fashion campaigns. Starring world renown models and shot by the iconic fashion photographers, here are top 13 fashion campaigns that we love in Spring/Summer 2020.
1. DIOR MEN – TO THE FUTURE AND BACK
Shot by Steven Meisel, Dior’s Spring/Summer 2020 menswear collection campaign showcase the silhouettes and accessories designed by the Kim Jones in collaboration with Daniel Arsham. The U.S. artist also created the fashion show’s scenography based on pieces of work from his Future Relics series. The French fashion house brought in Ludwig Wilsdorff, Liam Marquant, Kohei Takabatake, Braien Vaiksaar and Serigne Lam to star in the campaign. As a nod to the “Back to The Future” film series, the campaign also features a sculpture titled Archaeologist of the Future which is based on the movie’s iconic DeLorean car. “This new campaign pays tribute to Dior’s past and future in a simply timeless way,” states Kim Jones.
2. LANVIN – WE’RE ALL DUST
Lanvin captures the spirit of a summer holiday with its spring/summer 2020 campaign titled “Stardust Memory.” Modeling Bruno Sialeli’s designs are Adam Attal, Meng Yu Qi and Selena Forrest. In a series of playful images, photographer Glen Luchford successfully captured the bold looks for the season.
3. HERMÈS – DREAM A LITTLE DREAM
Hermès’ spring/summer 2020 campaign feels relaxed and light, much like the collection itself. The French luxury house appointed photographer Jamie Hawkesworth for this season’s campaign. Starring model Pablo Fernandez, the campaign highlights the pink bubblegum jacket as well as a patchwork print shirt-jacket. There are two versions of each image: One focused and one blurred but accompanied with the description of the items worn on the image.
4. LOUIS VUITTON – BOYHOOD EXPLORATION
In the first series of its seasonal campaign, Louis Vuitton takes to the shores of Tangiers, Morocco. Honing the travel-centric core of the brand, the campaigns illustrate and celebrate the formative acts and feelings shared by male youth around the globe. Through the campaigns, captured on the five continents, Virgil Abloh highlights the ethea of global community, harmonious diversity and cross-cultural inclusivity embodied in his work at Louis Vuitton. The campaign is beautifully shot by Dutch photographer Viviane Sasson and stars street-cast models with varied talents including painter Delfin Finley, skateboarder Tyshawn Jones and actor Gustav Lindh.
