SIXTIES REVIVAL. Seiko is bringing back the glory of its original Grand Seiko of the 1960s as a limited edition timepiece
The original Grand Seiko from the 1960s will always be known for its distinctive design, strong character and reputation as a true pioneer. This year, the company has released three recreations of the original model as limited edition timepieces. The three versions include one in platinum, one in 18k gold and one in stainless steel. All three are powered by a 9S64 manual winding caliber, with the one in the platinum version having an even higher level of precision at -1 to +5 seconds per day, which is better than the standards for a COSC-certified chronometer. This Seiko is grand indeed.
