Once again, Hamilton watches appear on the big screen…
Time is once again a major theme in a movie by Christopher Nolan. This time around, instead of time dilation as depicted in 2014’s “Interstellar,” it’s the concept of time inversion in “Tenet” starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson. Quite appropriately, the movie also features a special timepiece, created by Hamilton.
As fans of the brand can probably tell you, this is far from the first Hollywood partnership for Hamilton; it isn’t even the first one with Christopher Nolan. For “Interstellar,” the brand created the Hamilton Khaki Field Murph which proved to be quite popular. And now, for this year’s “Tenet,” Hamilton spent 18 months to prepare, develop, test and produce the Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO which appears in the movie.
More importantly, Hamilton has also developed a special edition inspired by the timepiece featured in “Tenet” and featuring the movie’s distinct colors. And speaking of color, this special edition watch features a blue or red-tipped second hand, once again as a reference to key colors in the movie. The same goes for the special packaging that the watch comes in.
The Hamilton Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO comes in a 46mm titanium case with black PVD, a black dial, black hands with dark gray Super-LumiNova (and the aforementioned colored tips), a black rubber strap with black PVD pin buckle and a H-10 automatic movement with 80-hour power reserve ticking inside it.
