Cartier adds three new lacquer watches for the Santos-Dumont collection

As a tribute to its historical roots, the Santos-Dumont collection from Cartier adds three new lacquer watches elevating the style and spirit so dear to legendary aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont to its repertoire of elegance.

In particular, these three-color variations in burgundy and platinum, beige and gold or black and steel are coated with a thin layer of lacquer, then smoothed and polished by hand. Everything also hinges on the finesse of this translucent lacquer, which adds brilliance, relief and depth to the colors of the dial.
