Celebrating 10 years with Oracle Red Bull Racing, TAG Heuer pairs the Formula 1 collection’s unmistakable racing colors with a compact steel case and light-powered technology

A decade of competition has given TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing plenty of milestones to celebrate. Their latest collaboration, the Formula 1 Solargraph x Oracle Red Bull Racing, takes a different kind of measure of the partnership, translating its trackside identity into a 38 mm watch designed to move comfortably between motorsport culture and everyday life.
Since 2016, the Swiss watchmaker and the Formula 1 team have shared an emphasis on precision, innovation and performance. Their anniversary edition draws on that common ground while revisiting the spirit of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection, which emerged in the 1980s with a bold, accessible approach to Swiss watchmaking. Here, the familiar racing vocabulary remains intact, but solar-powered technology gives the latest model a practical dimension beyond its team colors.

The design makes its allegiance clear without relying solely on a logo. A blue sunray-brushed dial sets the foundation, offset by a vivid red minute track and a yellow-lacquered central seconds hand. Applied black indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova provide legibility by day and a green glow in darkness, while the date window at three o’clock adds everyday utility. Together, the contrasting colors create a dial that feels energetic without sacrificing clarity.
The 38 mm sandblasted steel case reinforces that balance. Its matte finish lends the watch a technical character, complemented by a blue bidirectional turning bezel made from TH-Polylight. A flat sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment protects the dial, while the three-row sandblasted steel bracelet completes the look with a cohesive, understated finish. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, adding versatility to a design rooted in the demands of the racetrack.
Turn the watch over and the partnership becomes explicit: the screw-down caseback carries the Oracle Red Bull Racing logo alongside a checkered-flag pattern. These details give the anniversary edition a clear connection to the team, while the overall design remains grounded in the Formula 1 collection’s established visual language.
The more substantial distinction, however, lies inside. The TH50-00 Solargraph movement harnesses natural and artificial light to power the watch, reducing the need for conventional battery replacement. According to TAG Heuer, one minute of direct sunlight provides enough energy for a full day of operation. A complete charge, achieved in under 40 hours of light exposure, delivers up to 10 months of autonomy in total darkness. Even after stopping, the watch can restart with just 10 seconds of light exposure. Its accumulator is designed for a lifespan of up to 15 years.
For TAG Heuer CEO Béatrice Goasglas, the anniversary is as much about the future of the partnership as its history. “This special edition celebrates that journey while looking firmly ahead,” she says. “With its 38 mm case and Solargraph movement, it brings the energy of the grid to a new generation of watch enthusiasts, for whom racing is as much a culture as a sport.”
That idea gives the Formula 1 Solargraph x Oracle Red Bull Racing its clearest identity. It captures the visual intensity of Formula 1 without asking its wearer to leave that sensibility at the circuit, pairing distinctive team colors with practical proportions and light-powered convenience. Available from October 2026, the watch marks 10 years of shared ambition with a design that looks to the next lap rather than simply celebrating the last.
