The world’s No. 1 tennis player, Spaniard <a href="http://www.rafaelnadal.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rafael ‘Rafa’ Nadal</a> is now the new model and ambassador for <a href="http://www.emporioarmani.com/chooseYourCountry.asp?mm=" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emporio Armani</a> underwear and<a href="http://www.armani.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Armani</a> Jeans. Nadal takes over from soccer star <a href="http://www.cristianoronaldo.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cristiano Ronaldo</a>, who had been the EA underwear guy of 2010. <a href="http://www.davidbeckham.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">David Beckham</a> had the same role before Ronaldo.

The first campaign ads with Rafa will be for EA’s spring-summer 2011 collections. The project was handled by the dynamic duo of fashion photography <a href="http://www.mertandmarcus.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mert Alas</a> and <a href="http://www.mertandmarcus.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marcus Piggot</a>, who have previously shot for <a href="http://www.louisvuitton.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton</a>, <a href="http://www.missoni.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Missoni</a>, Giorgio Armani, <a href="http://www.robertocavalli.com/welcome.do" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roberto Cavalli</a>, <a href="http://www.fendi.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fendi</a>, <a href="http://www.kenzo.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kenzo</a>and <a href="http://www.miumiu.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miu Miu</a>. Nadal won the 2010 French, Wimbledon and U.S. Open titles to knock <a href="http://www.rogerfederer.com/en.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roger Federer</a> off the top of the rankings. Now, he has knocked Ronaldo off the EA billboards.
