Breitling unveils a limited-edition Top Time collection honoring cycling icon Gino Bartali
BREITLING TOP TIME B01 GINO BARTALI
In tribute to Italian cycling legend Gino Bartali—who served as a brand ambassador during the era when Breitling was the official timekeeper for many of the sport’s most prestigious races—the new Top Time B01 Gino Bartali combines historical reverence with mechanical performance. This 41mm stainless steel chronograph features a vibrant blue dial with yellow accents, inspired by Bartali’s iconic jersey.
The distinctive squircle-shaped subdials, finished with subtle racing lines, represent the mutual respect between Bartali and his longtime rival Fausto Coppi. Breitling previously honored the legacy of both cyclists with a limited-edition chronograph, underscoring their contributions to a defining era in the sport.
A tachymeter scale along the outer edge of the dial carries Bartali’s nickname, L’Intramontabile (“The Timeless”), while his signature at 6 o’clock adds a personal detail. Produced in a series of 750 pieces, the Top Time B01 Gino Bartali integrates visual storytelling with technical sophistication, making it both a collector’s item and a high-performance tool watch.
