<a href="http://daman.co.id/?s=Breitling" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Breitling</a> has been crafting timepieces for <a href="http://daman.co.id/?s=Bentley" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bentley</a> more than a decade, initiated by the first collaboration back in 2003 where the Swiss watch manufacturer designed the dashboard clock for the latter’s Continental GT. After a bevy of special chronographs released following that, now is about time for Breitling to give a new kind of timekeeping model that befits the speed of a Bentley car.
The Bentley Supersports B55 is essentially a successor to the <a href="http://daman.co.id/?s=Breitling+B55" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Breitling B55</a> connected watch that was first unveiled three years ago during the <a href="http://daman.co.id/fair-baselworld-2014-in-basel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Baselworld Fair</a>, in Basel, Switzerland. While the 46mm exterior takes after parts of a Bentley car, the 2017 novelty follows suit by combining the sleek appeal of a light titanium case and a carbon-fiber dial. The engraved bezel is iconic to the Breitling for Bentley line as it is akin to the Bentley grille. The icing on the cake is a stylish red-edged and double-layer black rubber strap.

What goes on the inside is no small feat. The B55 connected technology allows data syncing to a corresponding Bentley for Bentley smartphone app. This particular timepiece, however, does more than just seven daily alarms, perpetual calendar with week display and second timezone—things that other connected watches could do. Since Bentley is all about speed and endurance, Breitling enhances those basic features with three types of exclusive chronograph functions.
For a rally racer, the “chrono rally” utility enables recording up to 30 stages, including the departure date of the rally, the start time and duration of each stage and even the penalties, if there’s any. A racetrack racer could count on the “chrono race” feature to note down the split times of each lap and figure out the average speed per lap. Last but not least, the “regularity rally” function proves to be useful for competitions that measure distance against time limit. The data of all those will be displayed in detail on the smartphone app. But even if you don’t have a smartphone with you, the Bentley Supersports B55 looks as stunning as a Bentley car itself. Sexy, tough and robust, what else could you ask for?
