One of the most iconic watch collections now comes with matching gold straps for a sportier look.
The Marine collection is firmly rooted in the fundamentals of Breguet’s heritage. This year, Breguet presents new models from one of its most iconic collections in rose or white gold with matching gold bracelets. Meet the Marine 5517, the Chronographe 5527 and the Alarme Musicale 5547.
The Marine 5517
The first novelty, the Marine 5517 features a date window and simple three-hand display. The Marine Chronographe 5527, on the other hand, measures short time intervals. Finally, the Marine Alarme Musicale 5547 features an alarm complication, as well as displaying the date and time for a second time zone.

Aside to that, each watch is also available in three materials: titanium, rose gold and white gold. In particular, the titanium model features an elegantly understated sunburst slate-gray dial in gold, while the rose gold and white gold cases feature a gold dial engine-turned by hand with an original wave design.
The Alarme Musicale 5547
In addition, Breguet also offers these three timepieces with matching gold straps for a sportier look. As we can see from the first link, which is attached directly to the case, the strap continues the smooth lines of the Marine to the wrist in order to provide extra comfort for the wearer. The sculpted lugs also accentuate the roundness of the case on the Marine models, whereas the fluted case flanks evoke Breguet creations of times gone by.
Moving on to the back, we also can see that Breguet has included an homage to the nautical world on the Marine 5517 as well as the Marine Chronographe 5527 and Marine Alarme Musicale 5547. For example, the Côtes de Genève pattern on the caliber bridges calls to mind a ship’s deck boards while the rotor recalls a ship’s wheel.
Above all, the latest Marine watches from Breguet showcase a combination of a timeless aesthetics and technical performance in the brand’s time-honored tradition, while also lending inspiration to the explorers of today.
