This Summer 2021, Berluti presents its new line with eye-catching braided leather details, showcasing a new kind of savoir-faire and craftmanship from this prestigious Paris leather maker brand. Inspired by the Maison’s ongoing collaboration with Brian Rochefort and by Rochefort’s trademark texture play in his sculptures, Berluti’s braided leather technique is featured on a selection of bags, small leather goods and sneakers.
The iconic Signature canvas is used as the base for this new Summer 2021 bags collection, including a large white logo crest printed on the front side of each piece, outlined by a braided calf leather stripe. Available in a black, white and yellow or a black, white and blue colour combination, the tricolor stripe is braided following a perforation pattern on the canvas, thus obtaining an exceptional visual and textural play through an innovative, luxurious technique imbued in Berluti’s DNA.

The braided leather-detailed bags in the collection include the Aventure MM weekender, the Ulysse tote, the Nino clutch, the Aventure Gulliver cross-body bag and the Whopping large tote, all of them complete with Venezia leather details and black cotton linings. Small leather goods include the Séjour card holder, the Itauba wallet and the Traveler neck pouch.
