Vilebrequin Makes a Splash in Indonesia

HAPPY DAYS. Just when the long holiday is right around the corner, French luxury swimwear Vilebrequin arrives with colorful offerings for its “Happy” summer collection

Established in the summer of 1971, the brand had a romantic beginning, with founder Fred Prysquel crafting the first swim trunks for himself to enamor a beautiful lady on the French Riviera.

While not much is known as to how that affair turned out, Vilebrequin soared to great heights, owing to its eye-catching motifs and the quality comfort of each piece. Its first store in the country was established in Plaza Indonesia, with a décor adorned by a taste of Saint Tropez.

The “father and son” pieces are wholly irresistible, particularly the ones featuring quirky patterns like the Happy Penguins and the Bear Hotel.

Making a big splash during this summer break shouldn’t be a problem anymore, then.
