Under Armour Brings Back the Glory to Stephen Curry with New Shoe & Campaign

Golden State Warriors’ loss at the NBA Finals last season doesn’t stop Stephen¬†Curry from being an inspiration to not only budding basketball players everywhere, but also Under Armour.

Curry has been one of the most recognizable ambassadors of the American sportswear brand. Together, they have introduced a very successful footwear collection. And now Under Armour has launched the latest addition to the range, the Curry 3.

Designed to assist Curry (and other wearers) to soar from the bottom, the Curry 3 is made with Under Armour’s newest breakthrough in fabric technology, Threadborne, which gives the shoe its lightweight support, balance, speed and durability.

The shoe’s “Dub Nation Heritage” colorway has been launched on October 25, and it will soon be followed by the “SC Camo” colorway on October 27.

In conjunction with the launch, Under Armour is also debuting a new campaign video. Entitled “Make That Old,” the video tells the story of a reborn Curry, who is set to write a new chapter in the next basketball season. Other than Curry himself, the campaign also features the new Curry 3 shoe (obviously) and, for an added dose of emotional touch, the local athletes who look up to him.
