UP TO DATE. Date complications like a perpetual calendar aren’t really something new in the world of horology. But the L.U.C Perpetual Twin from Chopard is worth a bit of extra attention
Coming from the brand’s top-tier line, this timepiece is packed with the very best in movements—relying on the expertise of the 20-year-old Chopard manufacture—and design, as elegance is essentially the line’s middle name.
For the latter, though, Chopard made a slight exception this time, as the watch is the first L.U.C timepiece done in stainless steel.
The metal case matches perfectly to the silver-toned dial, where the easy-to-read perpetual calendar complication cuts a dash.
Last but not least, the 43mm automatic watch boasts two barrels in the movement and, thus, a lasting 58-hour power reserve.
