TAG Heuer is set to be the one watch to rule them all
On February 20, 1962, astronaut John Glenn became the first American to achieve the first manned US orbital flight. But he wasn’t alone. Accompanying him in his journey was a TAG Heuer stopwatch.
So history has been written; on that particular day, TAG Heuer became the first Swiss watchmaker in space.
And now, the watch manufacturer is set to write another history, as TAG Heuer has lend it support to China’s plan to explore Mars. Teaming up with China’s Mars Exploration Program, TAG Heuer will serve as the official timekeeper, as a way to support the country’s plan to land an unmanned rover on the red planet.
To further introduce the historical project, TAG Heuer has released a short video on space exploration. Check it out!
