SWEET SOMETHING. The adage “Never judge a book by its cover” is undeniably pertinent in regard to this novel scent from Calvin Klein. At first glance, the CK One Red Edition for Him is eye-catching in an alluring grey-red bottle. But open the cap and you’ll find a surprise a fruity surprise, that is.
With pear as a top note, the concoction tends to lean more toward sweet rather than strong. It’s also very light on the skin, despite the infusion of black pepper and ginger. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that this eau de toilette has got a distinctively unisex quality (although there is the CK One Red Edition for Her as well). The red trademark notwithstanding, this CK might be the least “daring” entry in your masculine scent collection.
