Featuring Luke Skywalker himself
rag & bone recently launched a campaign called the Men’s Project, which stars a lineup of nine real men. Sort of.
By “real men” we mean “men you don’t usually see in fashion campaigns.” Men’s Project features a series of photographs and videos highlighting the lives of the cast members, which will be published ongoingly throughout the year.
The project debuts with actor John Turturro (the “Transformers” series). Turturro and the other cast members are very much involved in the project, as they’re given the freedom to choose the locations of the shoot and the outfits themselves.
Marcus Wainwright, co-CEO of rag & bone says, “Our goal with the project was to capture each artist’s personality and sense of style.” His partner David Neville then adds, “We want to create a direct connection with our audience by creating imagery that speaks to the diversity of the rag & bone man.”
Turturro will be followed by men from various walks of life such as musicians Mauro Refosco, Honor Titus, Wiz Khalifa and Joey Waronker. Other names include photographer David Flinn, ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov (mostly known for his work as Carrie Bradshaw’s Russian boyfriend in “Sex and the City”) and actors Harvey Keitel and Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker.
