A LINK IN TIME. To celebrate its 30th birthday, TAG Heuer’s Link collection returns with a new look, more noticeably a larger diameter
Since it was introduced in 1987, Tag Heuer’s Link range of watches have always been distinctly characterized by its stainless steel bracelet with S-shaped links. Over the years the simple design has gone through several adjustments, and only last year did we see the relaunch of the Link for women. Now entering its 30th anniversary, this iconic watch will once again receive a makeover and will exclusively only be available for men.
The new iteration of this simple yet iconic watch is available in three different dials, silver plated, black or blue sunray encased in a steel case. Most noticeable about the new generation is its larger diameter which is now 41mm. The timepiece features TAG Heuer’s Calibre 5 movement, has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating as well as a sapphire case back.
Although the look of the new Link is kept simple, the watch carries a steel theme throughout. Apart from its iconic steel bracelet and case, steel is also found on the baton indices of the dial as well as the hour, minute and seconds hand. The hour and minutes hands are given a white SuperLuminova ™ that light up easily in the darkness.
The new Tag Heuer Link for men, is a great option for those just beginning to start their collection, as it offers the best value for money on today’s market.
