Darren Criss on DA MAN [Update3]

Darren Criss is the newest global star.

(UPDATE 3, FEB. 3)  The latest edition of DA MAN (Feb./Mar. 2011) is hitting newsstands this week (between Feb. 4 and Feb. 8).  Check this link for the places near you.

It will indeed feature a full fashion spread and exclusive interview. It will also be available via Zinio for most online platforms.

Meanwhile… here’s an image of the cover.

With a laid-back California attitude, tons of musical and acting talent and Asian style courtesy of his Filipino heritage, Darren Criss has gone from struggling college drama student to superstar entertainer with a No. 1 song (iTunes), a role on one of the most popular shows globally (Glee) and a worldwide following of fans.

His No. 1 song was the cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” which he performed a cappella with the Tufts University glee club for the TV show Glee.

On the show, Darren plays the character of Blaine, who is a super-cool, confident, out-of-the-closet dude. In real life, he avers, “I’m a straight male.”

Here’s the video from the show of Darren (Blaine) performing “Teenage Dream”:

Oh and one more thing: You can see Darren in an exclusive interview and full fashion feature in the February/March 2011 issue of DA MAN (due to hit newsstands globally very soon).
