TAG Heuer’s partnership with Bundesliga runs even deeper with the appointment of Mats Hummels as one of the watch’s brand ambassadors
TAG Heuer has added one more name to its already-extensive list of brand ambassadors: Mats Hummels, who is arguably the most suave player in Bundesliga. Previously, Hummels has also been chosen as the face of Hugo Boss and he was featured heavily in the brand’s Euro 2016 campaign.
A few months ago, though, Hummels made headlines for an entirely different reason, namely his move from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munchen. And some of the reactions were not exactly pretty!
But, like kids are saying these days, haters gonna hate. The CEO of TAG Heuer, Jean-Claude Biver, certainly pays no heed to the negativity. “Mats is a footballer who sets the tone through his mindset and charisma,” Biver says. “He is praised for his calmness when in control of the ball and the confidence he radiates, even in high-pressure situations. He is a true embodiment of what the TAG Heuer brand stands for with its slogan #DontCrackUnderPressure.“
And what an embodiment he is. During the unveiling event, nice guy Hummels even took the occasion to raise 10.000 euros for UNICEF.
