Louis Vuitton’s new capsule collection is a blast from the past

In Louis Vuitton‘s new capsule collection, the brand’s famous monogram eclipses all. So it just seems appropriate that the said capsule collection is named “Monogram Eclipse.”

Featuring the legendary monogram pattern in metallic gray details that are set against a background of black leather, Monogram Eclipse takes its inspirations from Louis Vuitton’s iconic Malle Courrier trunk.

Monogram Eclipse collection includes small leather goods—wallets, pouches, belts, gloves, sunglasses—in addition to backpacks and travel bags. The latter is divided into four options, namely the Backpack Voyager, the Messenger Voyager, the Keepall Voyager and the Travel Bag Explorer. Completing the capsule collection is a selection of shoes, consisting of leather and/or canvas slip-ons, sneakers and ankle boots with military influences.

Monogram Eclipse is available starting July 15, 2016 at Louis Vuitton’s stores and website.
