On one hand, it’s very much unlikely. On the other hand, it totally makes sense
A collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Faber-Castell is something that has been going on for years. The iconic designer has, as mentioned by WWD, used the coloring pencils by the brand to sketch his designs. It’s safe to say that those pencils have been contributing in the creation of his masterpieces for Chanel, Fendi and Lagerfeld’s eponymous label.
The collaboration has taken one step further with Karlbox, which is an array of sketching tools and supplies, housed inside an exclusive box that resembles a Chinese wedding chest.
Karlbox will be sold at around 2.500 euros (or approximately US$ 2.800), starting September 1 at Faber-Castell stores and Karl Lagerfeld boutiques. It will then be available at select department and specialty stores a few days later on September 19.
