SINGLED OUT. Intricacy in simplicity is a paradox that only the finest of timepieces can afford. Delivering this in spades is the newly released IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Monopusher
The clean-looking chronograph dial disguises the impressive eight-day power reserve—with a corresponding indicator positioned at 9 o’clock.
But the more exemplary feature of this 45mm white or red gold case is the mono-pusher on top of the crown. That single pushbutton can start, stop and reset the chronograph. And when resetting, all the chronograph-related hands will go to the zero position at once.
This wonderful “choreography” is matched by the craftsmanship of the leather strap, made exclusively by Italian leather maker Santoni.
