CONTEMPORARY CLASSIC. Introducing something new to the menswear arena can be tricky as men usually prefer to stick with what’s familiar.
Challenging this notion is Bally, which introduced a new shoe silhouette this season. The Swiss brand innovated with compositions thicker soles, chiseled toe and delicate stitching—and various finishes to come up with the Portland series. Featuring monkstrap buckles and lightweight rubber for the soles, the shoes manage to effortlessly marry a classic style with contemporary elements. A special pair from the collection even employs Dottic, the brand’s patented stamped leather originating in 1935 that still looks fresh today.
