Eat & Drink: Ling Ling Captures the Feel of 1930s Shanghai

With a romantic, darkly lit interior inspired by 1930s Shanghai, the restaurant manages to elevate its oriental offerings into “a feast both for the eyes and the mouth.” Take its prawn bean curd cong fan, for instance. Outside the usual gooey outer layer is a crispy skin that adds a tantalizing texture. Soya-poached chicken, crispy aromatic duck with Hoisin sauce and salted egg yolk squid complete the roundup of bestselling and delicious dishes you should have a try.
