Chanel Releases New Film for Allure Homme Sport

A new short film for Chanel’s men’s sport cologne is coming

Maybe because Rio 2016 Olympics is approaching, Chanel is releasing a new campaign for its men’s cologne, Allure Homme Sport.

The full video will not be released until May 23, 2016. In the meanwhile, Chanel has been providing us with a 15-second black-and-white teaser.

Back when the fragrance was first launched in 2012, Chanel appointed surfer Danny Fuller to star in its campaign. Similarly, the brand has also tapped another athlete, Brazilian diver Hugo Parisi, to star in the upcoming Jacob Sutton-directed video. Parisi is also joined by American skater Adam Crigler and actor Luke Grimes (“Fifty Shades of Grey,” “American Sniper”).

The three men are not visibly seen in the teaser video. It features the back view of a man (Crigler, perhaps?) holding a skateboard, while looking out to the sea, followed by shots of another man riding a horse on a beach and a speed skater gliding along a watery track.

Despite its shortness, the teaser manages to capture the dynamic and aquatic qualities of the cologne.

Stay tuned for the complete film, coming this Monday.

Update: Three short films have been released, accompanied by some making-of clips. Parisi, Grimes and Crigler are each captured in three different videos. The one with Parisi diving into the sea from the top of the rocky cliff is especially stunning (albeit dangerous).
