In one of the most shocking news happening right now, Lanvin’s menswear artistic director, Lucas Ossendrijver is reported to have left his post.
The Dutch designer have been with the fashion house for more than a decade – 13 to be exact. Being the brand’s steady ace card for more than a decade, the next question is obvious: who would be deemed worthy to fill in Ossendrijver’s large and respectable shoes.
Ossendrijver have gone through a lot with Lanvin, including the shakeups in their womenswear artistic director position in the past three years – most news mentioned this was caused by the arrival of new owners, Fosun International. Although, it seem that Ossendrijver has his own limits, with rumors circulating that his departure is the latest circumstance caused by the takeover.
Rumors hav already circulated that Loewe’s Bruno Sialelli will take over for both men’s and women’s department. Ossendrijver’s last collection will be a pre-fall capsule, and to be shown directly to buyers only.
