Berluti & Oliver Peoples Team Up for Eyewear Collection

Berluti’s youthful approach is still on track with a new collaboration

Berluti has been really friendly lately. The Italian brand worked together with Hublot to create a stunning watch that debuted earlier this year at Baselworld 2016. And now another collaboration has been announced.

Keeping line with its effort to appeal to more youthful crowd, Berluti is partnering with Oliver Peoples on collaborative eyewear collection.

Consisting of three frame designs, the collection “integrates unique elements of the Berluti brand into an Oliver Peoples frame,” as explained by Oliver Peoples’ CEO David Schulte.

The first style in the collection has round lens and is inspired by Andy Warhol, who happened to be a fan of Berluti’s shoes. Meanwhile, the second design, Acetate, incorporates Berluti’s signature Venezia leather patina pattern into it. The third style, a limited-edition one, is called the Sheldrake and features a layered leather front in black or brown.

The collection will be a part of the two brands’ Spring 2017 offerings, and it will be available at select stores and online starting early next year.
