ACTRESS IN TRAINING. One thing we still remember from our first meeting with Kelly Tandiono back in 2012 is when she said that girls have their turning-point in their 30s

Now, Tandiono herself has reached that critical age, and when we reminded her of her previous statement, she says: “Yes, it is, actually. As I said to myself, I’m not going to be model all my life. I’ve actually gone into something else now: acting. I also have my own swimwear line. Modeling is still going to be a part of me, but it’s not my first priority anymore.”
Tandiono says her transition from modeling has been pretty good, and along the way she managed to discover new talents and achieve something that she didn’t realize she was actually good at.
Currently, she is busy preparing for a triathlon in April as well as doing promos for her new movie “Labuan Hati.” In it, she plays as Bia, a socialite who has problems at home and decides to run to the famed Komodo island. Playing this role has proven to be a challenging task for Tandiono, who says that the character is completely the polar opposite of her. “The hardest part is to act like you can’t hike, how to pretend like you can’t dive,” she exclaims. “Because in reality, I don’t get tired!” By starring in this movie, she hopes to help boost Indonesia’s tourism sector.
