Leading wine bar Vin+ opened its latest outlet at Central Park mall, Jakarta. The Vin+ wine boutiques (now a handful of them; the first being in Kemang, which opened in 2004) have become an instant institution in Jakarta, giving locals a taste of haute cuisine and gourmet style.
The newest one is in West Jakarta at the recently opened Vin+ @ Central Park, which sells and serves all the same wines, over 800, and gourmet cuisine as the other outlets. First started as a wine supermarket, Vin+ rapidly became a respected wine bar and deli with a delivery service that really tapped into a market niche that was literally thirsting for it.
For reasons that sometime boggle the mind, wine prices in Indonesia are freakishly expensive, but Vin+ keeps it as reasonable as you are going to find. For that alone, they can be commended. This new outlet is at the mall’s cozy Tribeca Park annex might be the best one yet.
