This summer, Hublot launches a new boutique and an exclusively designed watch inspired by Turkey’s city of Bodrum with its imposing fortress facing the sparkling Agean Sea
Hublot has just opened a new boutique in Bodrum, Turkey. Built using stone from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus—one of the seven wonders of the ancient world—the city faces the Aegean Sea, whose sparkling colors inspired a new limited edition Hublot watch.
Titled the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Bodrum, the dial and strap of the watch reflect the sapphire sea, which is beautifully complemented by the white chronograph counters and strap stitching. Its 45mm titanium case houses a Hublot caliber HUB1143 movement that boasts 42 hours of power reserve.
Aesthetically, the blue gradation and blue and white decals upfront in the dial are also completed with a “Bodrum” inscription, which arguably makes it even more special. On the back, the watch is completed with the satin-finished titanium that engraved with “Special Edition” and ”N xx/25,” as well as “Boutique Bodrum” along with sapphire crystal with interior anti-reflective treatment.
More importantly, the Swiss brand will also adopt the Roman name for the rest of Mediterranean Sea this summer. Not only Turkey, Hublot will also take to the waves on a voyage to open a series of new boutiques in Spain, Greece, France and Italy, offering their own limited-edition pieces.
