<p><em>Louis Vuitton reaches new milestones in its watchmaking journey through a series of collaborative timepieces and fresh takes on its own iconic novelty</em></p>
<h2><strong>Louis Vuitton Tambour</strong></h2>
<p>Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton launched the most recent iteration of its famous—and iconic— Tambour, continuing the maison’s more than 160-year quest for modernity, elegance and functionality. This novel timepiece delivers a new statement of identity on its central brushed dial section with a distinctive “Louis Vuitton Paris” livery, denoting the brand’s origins. Moreover, there’s also a subtle change below the small-seconds counter, as “Fab. En Suisse” replaces “Swiss Made.” The sandblasted bezel also showcases a Tambour hallmark: the twelve-letter name of the maison, with each minutely-sculpted letter falling perfectly in line with an hour marker. Presented in a 40mm stainless-steel case, the new Tambour is driven by the new Cal. LFT023 movement, which is chronometercertified by the Geneva Chronometric Observatory and boasts a power reserve of 50 hours. As the finishing touches, the watch comes with Louis Vuitton’s first ever integrated bracelet, which melds seamlessly into the case in a lug-free construction with “Louis Vuitton” engraved neatly on the end link.</p>

<h2><strong>Louis Vuitton x Akrivia LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie</strong></h2>
<p>Louis Vuitton has introduced a series of collaborative timepieces with prominent independent watchmakers after announcing the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives earlier this year. The first project is the LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie, created through a collaboration between the maison and Atelier Akrivia. Design-wise, this timepiece is a doublefaced chronograph with a chiming complication. The emblem on the sapphire dial at the front reveals a union of the two brand names, with “LV” subtly incorporated into “AKRIVIA.” This represents the first time in history that Louis Vuitton has combined its logo with another brand. Meanwhile, at the back, the glossy white grand feu enamel dial was designed by Rexhep Rexhepi and is crafted by Nicolas Doublel, the in-house enameller at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. It features twin scales for the hours and minutes printed in enamel with a design that carries the spirit of the first-ever wristwatch made by Louis Vuitton back in 1988. Both brand names bisect the enamel dial horizontally</p>
