THE GOLDEN FIFTIES. One of the oldest Swiss watchmaker, Baume & Mercier is borrowing references from the past to create the newest self-winding chronograph.
The 43mm Clifton chronographs are evocative of the golden fifties, the period treasured as the golden ages for wristwatches. From the circular steel case to the accent numerals, the design is undeniably timeless. Modern touches added to the three new variants are the day and date windows at 3 o’clock, and the practical chronograph. A slight pressure on the push-pieces will immediately activate the chronograph function. Not to mention the automatic mechanism, this is the watch that’s not only beautiful to the eye but also durable for daily wear—with 48 hours of power reserve.
