Over the years Bvlgari has invited a diverse range of artists and architects to reinterpret its iconic Octo Finissimo case. From Hiroshi Senju in 2018 and Tadao Ando in 2020 to Laurent Grasso in 2024, the collection has become a realm of artistic exploration blending technical mastery with creative expression.
This year Bvlgari welcomes Lee Ufan, a Korean-born Japan-based artist, to join this ongoing dialogue. A painter, sculptor, poet and philosopher, Lee explores the relationships between human consciousness, nature and the universe. His work centers on perception and presence, emphasizing the emotional resonance of an object rather than its literal form.
Drawing from one of his central themes—the juxtaposition of a rock, static and confined, against the boundless reflections of a mirror—the mirrored dial, subtly accented with black hands, amplifies the Octo Finissimo’s architectural form. The result is a remarkable creation: a titanium watch and bracelet produced in a limited run of 150 pieces, each meticulously crafted by hand with a distinctive titanium surface finish. Lee Ufan’s handwritten signature on the caseback further elevates this piece into an intimate work of art.

Powered by Bvlgari&#8217;s BVL 138 manufacture caliber with a micro-rotor, the movement measures just 2.23 mm thick, contributing to the watch’s overall slim profile of only 5.5mm
