Montblanc unveils the secret of its watchmaking past in a contemporary timepiece for today’s watch connoisseurs

Montblanc Secret Minerva Monopusher Chronograph
Following the release of the previous two limited editions of the Montblanc Unveiled Secret Minerva Monopusher Chronograph in Lime Gold and stainless steel, Montblanc unveils a new limited-edition timepiece in distressed steel with a bolder look. The distressed steel finish is achieved by treating the 43mm stainless-steel case with a black coating, giving each timepiece a patina. Moreover, the material is manually washed and brushed with quartzite from the MontBlanc and limestones from the “V”-shaped mountain opposite the Villeret Manufacture, called La Combe Gr ède, bringing the mountain and the valley together.
Upon closer look, the watch dial and movement may appear to be skeletonized; however, the historic chronograph movement Minerva MB M16.29 is on full display on the dial side of the watch, making it one of the first times in Minerva’s 165-year history that a watch features the movement on the dial.
