Mare Sheehan, a detective in a suburb of Philadelphia, was once hailed a local hero. Now, many in the community start
to doubt her skills as she faces a new murder and an unresolved case from her past. On top of that, her personal troubles keep piling on. This critically-acclaimed HBO series explores the dark side of a close community and provides an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define the present. “Mare of Easttown” currently holds top ratings on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, and already has been nominated for no less than 18 awards, thanks in no small part to Kate Winslet’s incredible performance.

Mr. Corman

Joseph Gordon-Levitt writes, directs, produces and stars in this new original, 10-episode series following the story of Josh Corman, “an artist at heart but not by trade.” Things haven’t been going to Mr. Corman’s way lately. His lifelong dream of a career in music didn’t pan out and he finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley. Darkly funny but deeply heartfelt, “Mr. Corman” is a comedy-drama that speaks for the contemporary generation of 30-somethings.

Ted Lasso

Stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt

“Ted Lasso” follows an American college soccer coach who is brought in to manage English Premier League club AFC Richmond after new team owner Rebecca Welton hires Ted in a misguided attempt to sabotage the team. What she didn’t expect was that Ted would be eternally optimistic and has an infectiously positive outlook on everything, charming even the coldest of hearts. Season two of the show focuses on the aftermath of the AFC Richmond team being relegated down from the Premier League after Manchester City won in the final moments of the season one finale. The extended “Ted Lasso” season two will focus more on personal lives of the team as much as the soccer matches.
