On the first day of Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2016, held in partnership with DA MAN, Edgar Allan Poe’s “Tales of Macabre” was brought to live by Feby Haniv Pour Homme

The latest collection by designer Feby Haniv, which was presented at PIMFW 2016 under her line Feby Haniv Pour Homme, is, in turn, inspired by a collection of short stories from famed author Edgar Allan Poe known as “Tales of the Macabre.” The tailored shirts, blazers, suits and pants carry hints of romanticism and thriller elements evocative of such short stories as “Berenice,” “The Black Cat” and “Morella.”

Further driving the whole “macabre” theme was the material used: Jacquard, satin, damask, lace and faux leather in dark but bold colors such as black and red. Pink eyeshadow and similarly-hued lipstick completed the looks while a series of dandy accessories added a final touch loaned from period costumes.
