1. What keeps you busy these days?
Architecture, managing the firm, and wifey.
2. How important is maintaining your appearance when it comes to your work and other daily activities?
The most important thing is how you appear to yourself, then following that is how you would like to appear to others. Work involves dealing with experienced people that are a lot older than me, so it’s important to feel and look confident.
3. Do you agree that dressing properly can help build confidence? Why?
Yes I agree, though the word ‘properly’ is subjective. Even though confidence must come from within first, it still works both ways internally and externally.
4. What was it that inspired you to pick the Tommy Hilfiger Jakarta pieces you wore for the store’s opening event?
Initially I thought of picking the formal shirts, though I was quickly reminded by my wife that I have a lot of those at home already. So I chose the more casual comfy tops which were of great quality and uniquely designed.
5. How do those pieces from the collection fit with your personality or activities?
They fill the void of my wardrobe. I got a lot of formal clothing for work and a lot of ragged shirts I use for boxing and gardening. The pieces I chose are for chill out days, they are comfy and suit my laid back attitude.
6. Where and when do you think will the Tommy Hilfiger pieces you picked feel most appropriate?
Chilling out with friends and family, casual meetings and travelling.
7. All in all, what was your impression of the new Tommy Hilfiger Jakarta store and the collection on display?
It brought me back to the mid 2000’s in Sydney where my friends and I were focused on impressing girls by looking confident and feeling casual. [laughs]

1. What keeps you busy these days?
Running my branding digital agency, starting up my Beauty app, monitoring Berrywell and Fedwell cafes.
2. How important is maintaining your appearance when it comes to your work and other daily activities?
It is very important.
3. Do you agree that dressing properly can help build confidence? Why?
Definitely, the way you look sets the tone for everything! It helps me with confidence, mood, and everything.
4. What was it that inspired you to pick the Tommy Hilfiger Jakarta pieces you wore for the store’s opening event?
Practical, easy to wear, easy to match. It is chic too.
5. How do those pieces from the collection fit with your personality or activities?
I picked shirt and cardigan. Both are very me.
6. Where and when do you think will the Tommy Hilfiger pieces you picked feel most appropriate?
Most definitely at work.
7. All in all, what was your impression of the new Tommy Hilfiger Jakarta store and the collection on display?
Loved all of it! I am waiting to go back to bring my husband and buy more shirts!

1. What keeps you busy these days?
Currently I am juggling between managing my (family-owned) metal fabrication company, preparing my upcoming wedding and developing my latest business project in the beauty department. In between I am also working on my collaboration with a local clothing brand.
2. How important is maintaining your appearance when it comes to your work and other daily activities?
Although I do agree that looks are not the only thing that matters, I believe that maintaining and taking care of your personal being is a way of respecting yourself and others. For me, it’s simply decent manners.
3. Do you agree that dressing properly can help build confidence? Why?
Of course. When you feel good and comfortable about yourself, you will manifest confidence. However, “proper” is such a broad term. What is right and proper for me might not be to others. My viewpoint is when you respect other people and your surroundings, you would want and are willing to put effort to show your best. Dressing up, for me is one of the media to express your appreciation and good etiquette.
4. What was it that inspired you to pick the Tommy Hilfiger Jakarta pieces you wore for the store’s opening event?
Growing up I always see Tommy Hilfiger as a legendary brand that reflects the essence of classic American chic with a twist. The piece that I wore was from Tommy x Gigi Hadid collection. I was drawn to the unique cutting and the playful colors yet the design is still very chic.
5. How do those pieces from the collection fit with your personality or activities?
I love how carefree, vibrant and youthful the whole collection is. And as an added bonus, the fit was very comfortable for daily wear.
6. Where and when do you think will the Tommy Hilfiger pieces you picked feel most appropriate?
Most of the pieces from Tommy are casual and suitable for daily activities. However, with this particular piece I can pair it with shorts and sneakers for an easy laid-back look. I can also match it with leather pants/ jackets for a day to night outfit.
7. All in all, what was your impression of the new Tommy Hilfiger Jakarta store and the collection on display?
I was very pleased with the interior design. I love how the store exhibited the preppy classic all-American style of the brand. It creates a one-off shopping experience.
