Titled the New Balance 997 “Chalk Stripe,” this new collaborative creation is made from white patent leather and white snake embossed leather
Longtime collaborators Todd Snyder and New Balance unveil their latest collaboration in the form of the popular 997 silhouette, titled the New Balance 997 “Chalk Stripe.” Inspired by the seventies—when being a tennis star meant having equally adept footwork at the baseline by day and at the disco by night—the American fashion designer created its exclusive take on the New Balance 997.
For one, the shoe was made from white patent leather and white snake embossed leather. It also boasts a premium gray upper that’s completed with the signature “N” logo. All in all, with lightweight EVA foam cushioning in the midsole for increased comfort, this rework of a cult nineties style is perfect for when you want the clean aesthetics of a pair of court sneakers.
