The Transformative Optimism of Y-3’s Spring/Summer 2022 Collection

Y-3 returns with its second installment for spring/summer 2022 with a collection that draws inspiration from the concept of transformative optimism.

While the first chapter is all about dark aesthetics, this second outing doesn’t shy away from color or even bold prints. For the floral prints, Y-3 mashed up six different prints from the brand’s past designs into an entirely new motif. Adding further exploration into key moments from the brand’s past, this spring/summer 2022 collection is filled with the brand’s ability to pair relaxed sports- infused silhouettes with functionality and adaptability. Footwear comes in bold and bright colors while accessories in the form of bags, caps, bucket hats, belts and even bathrobes complete the collection.
