You probably have already seen Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again over the weekend, yes? The highly anticipated sequel and prequel to the 2008 hit musical movie has received rave reviews from critics and fans that it has broken box office records worldwide.
While we were highly entertained with the songs and plot (we’re not shy to admit we sang along), we were also greatly impressed with the casting, especially the young Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård, and Colin Firth.
Meet the three stylish young men playing young Sam, Bill, and Harry in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
JEREMY IRVINE as young Sam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan)
Style: Ruggedly Handsome
You may know 28-year-old English actor Jeremy Irvine from his roles in The Railway Man (2013) and Steven Spielberg’s War Horse (2011).
Three things we know so far:
- The method actor almost gave up acting a few years ago to become a welder
- He dated singer Ellie Goulding a few years ago.
- Jeremy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and has been an activist for diabetes research since then.
JOSH DYLAN as young Bill Austin (Stellan Skarsgård)
Style: British Elegance
Before his role as the happy-go-lucky sailor in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Josh previously appeared in 2016’s Allied as played Captain Adam Hunter.
What’s next for this British newbie actor? He will soon star in the upcoming horror film The Little Stranger.
And in case you want to know, he owns a cat called Wolfgang.
HUGH SKINNER as young Harry Bright (Colin Firth)
Style: Chic Eccentric
English film, television, and stage actor Hugh Skinner is 33 years old. Can you believe? This youthful star previously starred in hit movies Les Misérables (2012) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017). And he still currently appears in The Windsors, a British sitcom and parody of the British Royal Family as Prince William.
He is a graduate of the prestigious boarding school Eastbourne College. And he doesn’t have Instagram …yet.
