The Macallan Edition No.4 continues the diverse story of The Macallan’s exceptional oak casks and the skill behind the perfect cask selection to reveal the flavor, aroma and character of the whisky. In particular, the Edition No.4 embodies the craftsmanship and pioneering design of the new The Macallan Distillery and demonstrates the mastery of whisky making on the estate since 1824.

Matured in both European and American oak casks, the Edition No.4 presents a zesty, vibrant and invigorating flavor profile, which features hints of apple, toffee, citrus, ginger and nutmeg. On the noes, there are subtle wood and floral undertones. Finally, the whisky will linger with a sensation of sweet vanilla.

The Edition No. 4 was introduced to a select crowd from among Jakarta’s who’s who at The Glassroom, Ritz Carlton Pacific Place. There, guests mingled in a scene designed to mirror the lush landscape of Speyside, the home of The Macallan. In fact, they were invited to delve even deeper into the heartland of the brand through a nifty virtual reality experience that included cutting-edge wind and scent diffusion technology for a totally immersive experience. All the better to appreciate the rich nuances of The Macallan Edition No.4.
