To prepare for this action-packed epic movie, Chris Hemsworth (<a href="http://www.startrekmovie.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Star Trek</a>), who was cast as the lead, put on a lot of muscle via a six-month regime of heavy workouts. Also in the movie is Sir Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) who claims he’d never read a Thor comic nor did he know anything about the mythology, but signed up for the movie anyway because he was intrigued by the role of his character Odin, the father of Thor.
