Ryan Gosling acts his heart out as Barbie’s on-screen counterpart and steals the spotlight with stylish appearances at every “Barbie” premiere and campaign events
One of this year’s most-anticipated movies, “Barbie,” is coming soon to a theater near you. Naturally, there’s a lot of hype for Margot Robbie’s looks, both on the big screen as well as on the red carpets of premieres. Ryan Gosling, who plays the role Ken in the movie deserves some attention, too. Like Robbie, Gosling also managed to channel his inner Ken whenever he appears in a “Barbie” red carpet event…

Early in the “Barbie” campaign, Gosling visited his hometown in Canada for a press day event. Instead of wearing pink—the color most associated with the Barbie franchise—Gosling chose a pastel blue Gucci suit. But he still managed to add a touch of pink with his shirt and, as a brand ambassador for TAG Heuer, the 42-year-old actor was also seen wearing an iconic timepiece, the Carrera Date, with the bold pink dial.

Gosling’s Ken-ergy can also be seen at the “Barbie” premiere in Mexico City. He wore another Gucci suit in soft yellow and paired it with a round T-shirt and black loafers. At the LA premiere, Gosling paid tribute to his counterpart figure and appeared in a Barbiecore-pink blush suit, also from Gucci. Some time before that, Gosling looked more casual at a press junket sporting a white T-shirt, black trousers and a light cardigan. Last but not least, we cannot miss out on his “Greta Gerwig” T-shirt that he wore as a tribute to the “Barbie” director. In short, every outfit he presented during the campaign events is a way to show that a man can look gorgeous in pastels.
