The Best Dressed Men At Screen Actors Guild Awards 2019

Just as it is with the fall winter men’s fashion week season, the film awards season also continues as we approaches late January. Last night, the appreciation night among actors, the Screen Actors Guild Awards or SAG Awards was held. Of course since checking and ranking actors’ outfit is what we do for events like this, a night filled with countless handsome looks on the red carpet is basically our Monday breakfast buffet.

See our list below,

Michael B. Jordan in Louis Vuitton

Taking the responsibility of bearing the Louis Vuitton red carpet harness from the shoulders of Timothee Chalamet, MBJ took a strikingly different approach. It’s colorful sequins instead of sparkly black, and it’s over his tailored suit instead of -ehem- his well sculpted torso.

Timothee Chalamet in Celine

While Tiny Tim himself took -yet again- another route in another awards show. A semi-casual Celine set, with Hedi Slimane’s signature leather pants and boots, combined with a slightly oversized shirt and suit jacket. It’s as if Tim went from their Paris runway last week straight to the red carpet!

Matt Bomer in Brunello Cucinelli

The classic gentleman does not always make the list because it’s a safe bet. But mostly because they’re just flawless, we can’t help to put them in. Just check out how great Matt Bomer looks in his Brunello Cucinelli navy suit, paired with those chic Tod’s velvet shoes.

Chadwick Boseman in Ermenegildo Zegna XXX

A king on the screen, a royalty on the red carpets. Chadwick Boseman‘s out of the box gala appearances always made him snuck his way into our shortlists. Such as this bold brown/gold leaves patterned Ermenegildo Zegna XXX blazer that roars class and glam all at once.

Bradley Cooper in Gucci

An all time favorite, Bradley Cooper again proves that you don’t need much to stand out – especially when you’re on the spotlight for multiple nominees. His Gucci set looks simple, but it wraps the actor’s bright persona perfectly, we were sure a star was definitely born last night.

Chris Pine in Ermenegildo Zegna XXX

Another example of how striking contrast works when you have the chops for it. Chris Pine came in a classic Hollywood formula of bearing an all white Ermenegildo Zegan XXX suit. No extra details, no frills, no fuss – but he looked like THE leading man indeed.

Darren Criss in Emporio Armani

Okay, first of all, did our boy Darren Criss just brought home another award? Did he just made a clean sweep of all the major awards for his role in “American Crime Story”? But also, did he made heads turn again with his yet another blinged up blazer courtesy of Emporio Armani? Well, he most definitely made ours turn!

Rami Malek in Dior Men

In the same ambience with Criss, Rami Malek also have won all the major awards so far. Yet from his style, just like Chalamet, Malek is wearing a look taken straight from Paris Men’s Fashion Week just a week before – this time with Dior Men‘s zen looking Asian inspired suit.

Henry Goulding in Tom Ford

The richest fictional Asian bachelor have translated his career defining role well into his red carpet appearances. Henry Goulding is now the best looking Asian male actor. Just look at how priceless this golden Tom Ford jacket is on him. A million dollar look, no doubt.

John Krasinski in Isaia

We know we’re still short on BAFTA and the Oscars. But can we just prematurely -and officially- announce that John Krasinski is our red carpet champion of this year’s film awards season? After blue and white, now the all around great guy comes in an elegant dark green Isaia suit!
