The Best Dressed Men At BAFTA Awards 2019

After a week off, the movie awarding season continues to England’s own British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards. With results on BAFTA, the award show validates some obvious winners for the Oscars in two weeks – wink, wink, Rami Malek and Mahershala Ali!

But let’s get back to fashion, as we again list the best dressed actors of the night. Check the list now.

Will Poulter

The British actor mostly known for playing obnoxious characters surprised everyone when he came obnoxiously flawless in a classic black suit. Well, if we are playing the stereotype card, nobody said that villains can’t be dapper – just ask Will.

Bradley Cooper in Celine

Cooper chose flying to London for the BAFTAs than coming to the Grammys last night. Either way, he won on both events. We’re just curious would he have looked this good in this Celine suit had he went to the other show? We’re kidding – of course he would.

Luke Evans in Corneliani

Our regular red carpet guru, Mr. Evans brought another A-game with his classy Corneliani velvet dress jacket last night. Extra points for the shawl collar and his square pocket.

Richard Madden

Another classic British gentleman look, shown by another British gentleman. Madden probably tried to further stir up the gossip about him being the next James Bond through his outfit – or he’s just a fantastic dresser.

Lakeith Stanfeild in Saint Laurent

The American actor and rapper is known for showing some really serious red carpet game – yet we’ve never featured him. Until now. Simply because that velvet maroon dress jacket from Saint Laurent. Lakeith looked dapper and pimpin’ at the same time.

Taron Egerton in Giorgio Armani

When other people came in black or maroon, why not try emerald green? Taron Egerton did with this Giorgio Armani set (probably chanelling his Robin Hood role recently), and with brilliant result. A rebellious dandy, and pretty much effortless.

Rami Malek in Louis Vuitton

The man of the season, Malek once again brought home high honors – totalling on three major awards so far. And his red carpet game is also progressively keeps getting better. The only “white suitor” here in a spotless Louis Vuitton suit, you can clearly see why he made our list.

Mahershala Ali in Tom Ford

Just like Malek, Ali could probably take home all the major awards this season – redeeming his two misses a few years ago. While on the red carpet department, Ali’s fascination and preference towards patterned blazers (this time with Tom Ford) is another winner in our book.

Timothee Chalamet in Haider Ackermann

Hollywood’s true red carpet rebel Tiny Tim made the headlines yet again. His “weapon” of choice this time is Haider Ackermann‘s patterned shirt and jacket, paired with blood-checkered black pants and military high boots. Wherever he’s enlisting, we want in as well!

Joe Alwyn in Dior Men

Our choice for top look was by young actor Joe Alwyn. We have a number of reasons; him being a natural on the red carpet is one, and he looking good in various suits is another. But we believe it’s how he experiments with blending classic looks and contemporary elements – such as this quirky Asian inspired Dior Men piece.
