It also follows Anderson and Lee’s whirlwind love story and catastrophic breakup.

Yes, that’s right: One of the most iconic TV shows of the ’90s, “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” is getting a reboot. The new show promises a more serious tone and even more insight into the life of its lead character. The new series, simply called “Bel-Air,” is inspired by Morgan Cooper’s 2019 viral YouTube video that reimagined a dramatic version of the beloved original. Cooper also co-writes the new series and is co-executive producer with the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith.
