British-Japanese skateboarding world champion Sky Brown showcases her skills at a custom-made half-pipe floating on the River Thames in collaboration with TAG Heuer

The youngest professional skateboarder in the world, Great Britain’s youngest ever Olympic medalist and now the youngest brand ambassador for <a href="https://daman.co.id/tag/tag-heuer">TAG Heuer</a>, not to mention a surfing prodigy, 15-year-old Sky Brown is a force of nature. Her partnership with the Swiss watch brand started in 2022 and last March, TAG Heuer created a custom-built floating half-pipe to showcase Brown’s skateboarding prowess.

The custom half-pipe measured over four meters high and was flanked by two double-decker buses. The whole contraption was set on a floating barge that sailed down the River Thames, with yet another London landmark—the Tower Bridge—in the background.
The stage was set for Brown to do what she does best: Impressing spectators with a series of cool tricks. Naturally, this one-of-a-kind show included her favorite move, the Japan Air, where she pulls the board up behind her back as she flies high above the half-pipe while pointing her knees down for added style points.

Now, Brown has long been a fan of the brand and has been wearing the TAG Heuer Connected watch for over a year. For this particular event, however, she proudly wore the <a href="https://daman.co.id/tag-heuer-aquaracer-professional-200-solargraph-2024">TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph</a>.

“I was hyped to get involved in this idea! I’m always looking to push my skateboarding skills to the limit and when the TAG Heuer team came up with the floating half-pipe, I was stoked,” Brown commented. “Being able to share my passion for skateboarding with the public is something I love to do, and this is the perfect place and way to do it.”
Furthermore, the show also highlighted TAG Heuer’s bond and commitment to the world of sports—especially those that really embody the brand’s “Don’t Crack Under Pressure” spirit such as skateboarding. It’s also worth noting that after the show, TAG Heuer donated the half-pipe to Flo Skaterpark in Nottingham to help ensure that more up-and-coming skateboarders get their chance at greatness.
