<h2>After a successful first collaboration, the Swiss watchmaker and Japanese brand join forces once again</h2>
Swatch <a href="https://backend.daman.co.id/swatch-releases-collaboration-with-a-bathing-ape/">released its first collaboration with Japanese streetwear label A Bathing Ape (BAPE) in a series of limited edition Big Bold watches last year</a>. Aside to the fact that they dedicated the collection to their favorite (mega)-cities—from Bern, London, New York City, Paris, Tokyo and to the world—what made these watches even more interesting is that all six watches feature the newly designed signature BAPE camouflage pattern on the dial or strap and the BAPE logo of an ape’s head, while the enhanced Swatch logo is evocative of the watchmaker’s debut in the 1980s.

In 2020, the brand announces their second collaboration with another fusion of Swiss innovative watchmaking technology and Japanese street culture. For this year’s collaboration, Swatch x BAPE releases three new watches titled Tokyo White Multi Camo, Tokyo Black Multi Camo, and Tokyo Gray Multi Camo with multi-colored prints on their straps representing all the different cultures and people connected by their uniqueness.

Uniquely, despite the watches having Tokyo in their name and on their loops—an homage to the birth city of BAPE—each watch features both brands favorite (mega)-cities on their bezel.

Design-wise, the new collaboration was based on the latest Swatch Big Bold product line, in a striking 47mm case. Moreover, the design of these three new watches is about expressing oneself and putting forward one’s individualism, encouraging the winner within us all to shine.

Arguably, another statement piece from this collaboration is the packaging itself, as it comes in the signature BAPE camouflage print design. More importantly, there’s a surprise highly limited set with subtly modified designs .
