Nike has taken wild to another level. The Air Safari line was first introduced in 1987 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, the same guy behind the iconic Air Jordans.
While experimenting with nontraditional materials, patterns and colors, Hatfield discovered a unique combination to create the “ostrich feather” pattern, which later became a huge hit. Now, the CR Mercurial Vapor Superfly II combines the two celebrated aspects of the sportswear giant—technology and heritage. Nike ambassador Cristiano Ronaldo wore the soccer version of the Mercurial Vapor Superfly II for the first time in a Spanish League match recently, demonstrating the prowess of the new footwear. Now with the Nike SENSE traction system, the revolutionary retractable cleats help pro and amateur and recreational players adapt to any ground condition and pressure.
